FOXBOROUGH -- Patriots fans aren't going to like this.

Listen to your team news NOW.

Speaking Wednesday in Baltimore ahead of the Ravens' big game with the 49ers, safety Earl Thomas said they would be in the Super Bowl when asked if the game is a preview of the game come early February.

"You think the 49ers are going to the Super Bowl?" Thomas told reporters Wednesday. "It could be. Let's see. ... When the Super Bowl comes, whoever we play, they're going to be in trouble."

Right now, the Patriots hold a one-game lead in the AFC at 9-1, but the Ravens are playing the best football in the entire league right now. But, Ravens coach John Harbaugh disagreed and said the 49ers are.

"These guys are the best team in football," he said of the 49ers after Monday night's win against the Rams. "They're playing at the highest level right now. I don't know. Nobody's crowned, like I said. They're the best team in football right now. February's when they make that decision still."
