Red Sox lineup: Jackie Bradley Jr. starts on bench against Clayton Kershaw in Game 5 of World Series
This could be the World Series-clinching lineup.
Just like Saturday, Jackie Bradley Jr. will start on the bench as the Red Sox go up against Dodgers left-hander Clayton Kershaw. The Red Sox lead the series 3-1, and can earn another World Series title with a win.
J.D. Martinez will start in right field as Andrew Benintendi will man left field. Benintendi collected four hits in Game 1, which could be a reason why he's getting the nod over Bradley Jr. Mookie Betts will lead-off and play center field.
In addition, lefties Rafael Devers and Brock Holt get starts over Eduardo Nunez and Ian Kinsler.
Christian Vazquez will catch Red Sox starter David Price.
Here's the complete Red Sox lineup.
Mookie Betts, CF
Andrew Benintendi, LF
Steve Pearce, 1B
J.D. Martinez, LF
Xander Bogaerts, SS
Brock Holt, 2B
Rafael Devers, 3B
Christian Vazquez, C
David Price, LHP
