The Red Sox have made several roster moves prior to the final game of a three-game series with the Indians.

First baseman Mitch Moreland was placed on the injured list with a low back strain retroactive to May 26, and reliever Travis Latkins was optioned back to Triple-A Pawtucket. To fill their spots on the roster, right-handed pitcher Colten Brewer and left-handed pitcher Josh Taylor were recalled from Triple-A.

Moreland, who leads the team with 13 home runs, hasn't played since last Saturday in Houston, so it was clear something was bothering him.

Brewer and Taylor will look to give a boost to the Red Sox bullpen, which might need it with Ryan Weber starting on Wednesday.

Manager Alex Cora will join OMF at 2:30 p.m.
