Red Sox sign 4 more draft picks, including Tate Matheny, son of Cardinals manager Mike

The Red Sox announced Sunday night they have signed four more of their draft picks from two weeks ago, which includes their fourth-round pick Tate Matheny, out of Missouri State and son of Cardinals manager Mike. A Baseball America pre-season All-American, Matheny went on to lead his team with 12 stolen bases in 14 attempts and rank among Missouri Valley Conference leaders in doubles (fifth), walks (eighth), and RBIs (ninth). The Red Sox also signed outfielder Jagger Rusconi (fifth round) left-handed pitcher Logan Allen (eighth round), and right-handed pitcher Nick Duron (31st round).
