After the Red Sox acquired infielder Aaron Hill from the Brewers on Thursday, it would seem their focus is now on the starting pitching market. According to MLB Network's Jon Morosi, one of the options they are considering is Phillies right-hander Jeremy Hellickson. He added the organization has been scouting him of late. The 29-year-old is 6-6 with a 3.92 ERA in his first year with the Phillies and is a free agent after this season. He has plenty of experience in the AL East as he spent the first five years of his career with the Rays before the Diamondbacks last year. On a conference call Thursday night, Red Sox president Dave Dombrowski confirmed the team is looking at improving their pitching and talks with other teams have started to pick up. "We have had more conversations with pitching, but I'm not sure that means we're any closer to making a deal or not," he said. For more Red Sox news, visit
