Some thought after attending the three-day mandatory minicamp last week there was a chance Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski would stick around for the final week of OTAs (which are voluntary), but that doesn't look to be the case.

According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, Brady and Gronkowski will not be attending any of the four sessions this week, which began with Monday's off-site field trip.

The pair didn't attend any of the voluntary offseason workout program sessions this spring for the first time in their careers.

Speaking on Thursday, Brady was asked about attending this week, but gave a non-answer.

"We're not even through today yet." he said. "We've had a good three days and been working on the things we need to work on. That's what I always focus on."

The next time the two will be with the rest of their teammates will be when training camp begins at the end of July.

Thursday's OTA session is open to the media.
