FOXBORO -- One of the biggest storylines heading into Sunday's Patriots-Bills game is potential retaliation from the Bills for Rob Gronkowski's late hit on Tre'Davious White the last time the two teams met.

Gronkowski was suspended one game for the play.

This week, Bills players, White included, said they had moved past what happened and were focused on the game, as it has playoff implications for both teams. Gronkowski was asked about it Friday, and he said he's just focusing on the game.

"I've just been preparing all week, just like any other week," Gronkowski said. "Preparing for a big game on Sunday with the team, with the boys and just going to be ready for a hard-fought battle. Every single time we play the Bills they're always battling hard. They're always mentally tough. They're always physically tough and this will be a big game Sunday. We've just got to keep on preparing. We've got another 48 more hours to go before kickoff so just make sure I'm ready to go."

Added Gronkowski: "I'm just focusing on the game Sunday. I'm just preparing the same and we'll see how it goes. To tell you the truth I'm just expecting a very good, hard-nosed football team on the defensive side of the ball for the Bills to be coming full speed like they always do every time we play them."

The tight end is coming off his best game of the season against the Steelers, when he had nine catches for 168 yards in the 27-24 win. Despite the big game, he and the Patriots moved on quickly.

"This weekend is the most important game and the page turned on Monday after that game," he said. "It's just all Bills. Very good team. Very good defense and we've got to be ready."
