Rob Gronkowski returns to injury report with back, ankle injuries

FOXBORO -- A day after coming off the injury report for the first time since Week 2, Rob Gronkowski is back on it.

The Patriots tight end was officially limited in Thursday's practice with ankle and back injuries. Gronkowski returned to action last Sunday against the Jets after missing three out of the last four games. When speaking Wednesday he said he was feeling good after his first game action in 27 days.

Tom Brady (knee) was limited again, while Dwayne Allen (knee) returned to practice for the first time in several weeks, but was limited.
