FOXBORO -- There was a visitor to Patriots practice Thursday -- agent Drew Rosenhaus.

The big name agent watched Patriots practice from start-to-finish and then afterwards mingled with a few people from the organization.

First he stopped and talked for a few minutes with Patriots director of player personnel Nick Caserio and then owner Robert Kraft. Following that he stopped with a few of his players including Rob Gronkowski, Trent Brown, Phillip Dorsett and Braxton Berrios. All this was right around where the media was assembled.

Rosenhaus typically makes a visit to Foxboro around the preseason every year, but this year may be more notable since there were rumors Gronkowski would get a new deal and that has yet to happen.

Gronkowski currently has a base salary of $8 million for this coming season. The tight end got incentives thrown into his deal last year, but that or even a new deal all together has yet to happen. Rosenhaus, Bill Belichick and Gronkowski met back in April when the tight end said he would in fact play in 2018.

While Rosenhaus being present isn't out of the ordinary, it's worth noting considering Gronkowski's current contract situation.

Here's a few shots Rosenhaus mingling.
