For the first time since Deflategate, Roger Goodell will attend a non-preseason game at Gillette Stadium on Thursday night.

Everyone knows Patriots fans are not too fond of the commissioner because of what happened in the Deflategate case, and likely will let him hear it.

Speaking on FS1's "First Things First" on Thursday, it seems Goodell is prepared for what is to come.

“I am excited about being there," he said. "Listen, I was up there all day yesterday and spent the day in Boston. We had a lot of events going on. Fans are passionate and they are loyal, you expect that, and you want that. That is what is great about our game. Patriots fans are going to show that loyalty tonight I’m sure."

Barstool Sports' Dave Portnoy has also ordered 70,000 Goodell clown towels to be handed out in the parking lots before the game.
