FOXBORO -- The Patriots held their first practice after the bye week on Tuesday on the back fields of Gillette Stadium. There was one player missing, rookie cornerback Jonathan Jones. The undrafted rookie has been active for every game this season, mostly playing on special teams. Jones hasn't been on the injury report this season. There was also no sign of offensive lineman Tre' Jackson, who is on PUP. With him not being out on the field, it's worth wondering if he plays at all this season. He has until Week 11 to begin practicing and then 21 days after that to be activated to the roster, or else he will revert to injured reserve. Running back Dion Lewis (PUP) was present once again and looked good in the drills the media was present for. Lewis needs to be activated to the roster either this week or next, so it's possible Jones could be off the roster (IR or released) to make room for the running back. There is no injury report on Tuesday, as the first of the week will come out on Wednesday afternoon.
