CINCINNATI -- As the Red Sox will be in the market for young starting pitchers under team control at the trade deadline, one of the biggest names that fits that criteria is the Athletics' Sonny Gray, but if you ask him he's not getting traded. "I don't think I am going to get traded," Gray said Tuesday. With Oakland currently nine games under .500 and 8 1/2 games out in the AL West, the team could be sellers at the deadline with a number of teams calling on Gray. When asked again what his mindset will be at the deadline, he reiterated he doesn't think he will be dealt. "I just don't think I am going to get traded," he said. Gray is currently 10-3 with a 2.04 ERA, the second-best mark in the majors. The 25-year-old right-hander makes only $515,000, and isn't eligible for free agency until 2020.
