FOXBORO -- There was a bit of a surprise at Patriots practice Saturday -- the return of Sony Michel.

Michel suffered a knee injury in Sunday's win over the Bears and missed the first three sessions of the week. The rookie was back with the rest of his teammates Saturday afternoon inside the Empower Field House due to the poor weather conditions outside. The media only saw stretching, but the Georgia product didn't seem impacted in any way.

It still seems unlikely he will play Monday in Buffalo, but this is a good sign and perhaps he only needs to miss one game.

Eric Rowe and Brian Schwenke were once again absent and it does not appear likely they will play Monday night.

The final injury report with game statuses is due out later in the afternoon.
