MIAMI -- The following Patriots players are inactive for Sunday's game against the Dolphins: tight end Dwayne Allen, offensive lineman James Ferentz, cornerback Duke Dawson, cornerback Keion Crossen, defensive tackle Danny Shelton, defensive end Keionta Davis and defensive end Derek Rivers.

Allen was the only player to be ruled out, as he did not make the trip due to a knee injury.

It is the second straight game missed for Shelton, while Dawson still has yet to play since coming off injured reserve. He's been eligible for three games now.

There really aren't too many surprises as it seems like Crossen is at the back end of the cornerback depth chart and same goes for Rivers and Davis up front.

After being added to the injury report Friday, Stephon Gilmore is officially active.

For the Dolphins, Danny Amendola is officially active after being listed as questionable.
