Last year before the Titans played the Patriots in the AFC divisional round, Titans safety Kevin Byard said he wanted to make Tom Brady look like Blake Bortles.

Evidentially he didn't learn, as he's giving the Patriots a little more bulletin board material this week.

“We all want a piece of Gronk [Rob Gronkowski]. But in the end, it’s not just about Gronk. It’s about winning the game,” Byard said, via Titan Insider. “It’s about doing what we have to do to win the ballgame. If he plays, he plays. We’re going to try to do our best to stop him. But if he doesn’t, then we’ll lock everybody else up.”

“Just thinking about the matchup with Brady and thinking about the opportunity to go up against Gronk again, I’ve definitely been thinking about it all offseason,” he added.

Byard and the Titans lost the playoff game last year, 35-14 in New England.

Meanwhile, Gronkowski may not even play due to nagging ankle/back injuries. He is officially listed as questionable.
