Watch: John Farrell interviews Mookie Betts on ESPN following Red Sox win

After being fired at the end of last season, John Farrell has a new job this season as he's no longer manager of the Red Sox.

Farrell is doing some in-studio work with ESPN and he was working Tuesday night, which was the first Red Sox-Yankees game of the season.

Part of the postgame coverage had the star of the game, Mookie Betts, on the network for an interview. Overall, it wasn't as awkward as some might have expected and Farrell asked Betts about his new approach of being more aggressive at the plate, which was essentially the opposite of what Farrell preached, which was working counts and driving up pitch counts.
