While it wasn't the prettiest wins in the world, the Patriots ultimately came away with a 35-14 win over the Giants on Thursday Night Football.

Listen to your team news NOW.

Given the circumstances, Bill Belichick was quite pleased after the game and also noted Tom Brady moving into second place on the all-time passing yards list.

“Good job on a short week," he said in the locker room, courtesy of Patriots.com. "Really good job offensively patching it together. Kind of running short on bodies. You guys really sucked it up, did what we had to do there. That’s a nice job.

"We have Tom second on the all-time passing list now. (Time to go after) rushing records.”

Brady had two rushing touchdowns in the win.

The Patriots are now off for 11 days until they travel to New York to take on the Jets on Monday Night Football.
