Sunday was a statement win for the Patriots.

New England defeated the Vikings 24-10 at home to improve to 9-3 on the year. The Patriots jumped out to a 10-0 lead, allowed Minnesota to score the next 10 points to tie the game late in the third, but then scored 14 points in a seven-minute span to blow the game open.

Bill Belichick seemed very satisfied after the game.

“Fellas, that is a good job," he told the team in the locker room, via "That is what we needed. Alright, we got good special teams, we got good return yardage. Alright, give up 10 points on defense, turn the ball over, move the ball on offense, we played the game the way we wanted to play it, and we got the results we wanted. Congratulations.

“Alright, see you Wednesday.”

The Patriots earned a Victory Monday before their typical Tuesday off day. They will travel to Miami this weekend.
