With multiple NFL coaches fired immediately following the regular season, the interview process for those teams will begin this week. As of Monday morning, five teams have openings: Giants, Raiders, Lions, Bears and Colts.

Since the Patriots have earned a first-round bye, their coordinators -- Josh McDaniels and Matt Patricia -- will interview for jobs this coming weekend.

According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, Patricia will interview for the Lions' opening, along with Texans defensive coordinator Mike Vrabel. The report adds Detroit may hold on to many of its offensive coaches. There's a strong Patriots connection there with general manager Bob Quinn, as he was a former executive in New England.

As for McDaniels, he reportedly is expected interview for the Colts' vacancy, this also according to Rapoport. This is one of the better jobs available, considering there is already a good quarterback in place with Andrew Luck (coming off injury).

There's also speculation McDaniels could interview for the Bears' opening.

In addition, there was a report out of New York Sunday that had both McDaniels and Patricia at the top of the Giants' list. ESPN's Adam Schefter added Monday the Giants have submitted requests to interview both.

Even though the Patriots are off this weekend, it's shaping up to be a busy one for their coordinators.
