By now it is no secret Isaiah Thomas believes he is worth max money.

With Thomas' contract set to expire at the end of the 2017-18 season, the All-NBA guard let it be known once again, while hosting his annual basketball clinic at Boston University, he is confident his play will be rewarded.

"Very confident," Thomas told the Boston Herald. "I deserve it. I put the work in, and you can put me down against any guard in the NBA. ... My numbers are up there with the best players in the world, and my team is winning. So, I mean, you have to reward that."

Thomas did, however, want to clarfiy he's not the one that is continually bringing up the topic of money.

"At the end of the day I’m not too worried about it," said Thomas. "I only talk about it when people bring it up, so everybody's always like, ‘He’s always talking.’ I’m not talking about it unless somebody brings it up. I’m just going to keep working though. My time is gonna come. I have a lot of faith in God, and I just have to keep working to get better."

The 5-foot-7 guard is coming off the best season of his career, averaging 28.9 points per game and receiving All-NBA Second-Team honors.
