Xander Bogaerts has stepped into the batter’s box 13 times in the Red Sox' series against the Blue Jays this week and has racked up eight hits and three RBIs.

Monday night, Bogaerts walked once and singled three times, helping Boston squeak by with a 10-8 victory in the series opener. The next night, he had another three-hit performance, including a 409-foot bomb to left field in the bottom of the first. Adding a single and a double to the stat sheet later in the game wasn’t enough to close the gap in a 10-4 loss. Wednesday night, Bogaerts singled and doubled to deep center to help lead the Sox to a 5-4 win.

Bogaerts brought his batting average up to .313 with an on-base percentage of .399. With 21 homers, he’s just two shy of his career high, and 74 RBIs have him on pace to surpass his career-high 102, which he reached last season.
