We already knew the dates of the Bruins' three round-robin games. Now we know the times for the first two, as well as the date, time and opponent for their one exhibition game.

The NHL announced Tuesday night that the Bruins will face the Columbus Blue Jackets in an exhibition game in Toronto on Thursday, July 30 at 7 p.m. ET, four days after they'll arrive in the bubble.

The Bruins will then play their first game of the round-robin tournament that will determine the top four seeds on Sunday, Aug. 2 at 3 p.m. ET against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Their second round-robin game will be against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Wednesday, Aug. 5 at 4 p.m. ET. They'll close out the round-robin tournament against the Washington Capitals on Saturday, Aug. 8, with the time for that game still to be determined due to the fact we don't know how many play-in series will still be going then.

The late afternoon start times for the round-robin games were expected, as the NHL reportedly wanted them in that slot since they won't have endless overtime and can therefore help ensure the primetime night games start on time.

Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy said on Monday that the team will likely hold a few late afternoon practices (as opposed to their usual mid or late morning start times) to help prepare them to play in the unusual time slot.
