Shinskie Cannot Crack UVA Corners

November 14, 2009 - 11:18 am

David Shinskie has not had a great start against the Virginia secondary. Boston College was able to move the ball in its first drive of the game with Montel Harris picking up 37 yards on seven carries before the drive stalled at the Cavalier 8-yard line. Shinskie tried to force the ball in double coverage in the end zone and was picked off by junior corner back Ras-I Dowling. Shinskie was 2-5 for 30 yards in the first. He has had time to throw but has not been able to really crack the strength of the Virginia defense between Dowling and Chris Cook. The Cavaliers missed a field goal to end the first quarter. Start of the second. 0-0.
