Titans RB Chris Johnson still absent from training camp

Chris Johnson's holdout has reached day 12, as the Pro Bowl running back did not report to training camp Tuesday, missing the deadline for players to earn an accrued season toward free agency. Johnson had demanded a new deal with $30 million guaranteed, and apparently wasn't satisfied when the Titans increased his 2010 salary by $1.5 million. The three-year pro is only guaranteed $800,000 this season, and can be fined $30,000 for every day of camp he misses. The Titans are reportedly willing to re-negotiate his contract, but will not do so until Johnson reports to practice. The 26-year-old rushed for 1,364 yards in 2010 after becoming just the sixth player in NFL history to rush for over 2,000 yards in 2009.
