Trapani earns All-ACC third-team honors

It'€™s been an up-and-down season for the BC men'€™s basketball team, but one its own was awarded with some regular-season hardware. On Monday, junior forward Joe Trapani was named to the All-ACC third team by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association. Trapani has been a consistent player for the Eagles, posting 13.3 points and 5.8 rebounds in 15 conference games. On the season, Trapani is leading the Eagles in points (14.6), rebounds (6.4) and 3-point percentage (35.7). Trapani grabbed 38 votes to gain recognition on the third team. The Eagles (15-15, 6-10 ACC) will play Virginia in the first round of the ACC tournament on Thursday at noon.
