Red Sox select TCU right-hander Durbin Feltman in Round 3 of MLB draft

With the 100th overall pick (Round 3) in the 2018 MLB draft, the Red Sox selected Durbin Feltman, a right-handed pitcher from TCU.

Feltman is a 6-foot, 190-pound junior who held a 0.74 ERA for the Horned Frogs in 24 1/3 innings pitched this season, while striking out 43 and holding opponents to a batting average of .143.

The 21-year-old from Conroe, Texas is ranked No. 70 on the top 200 prospect list.

Feltman was named to Baseball America’s All-American third-team. The TCU closer has 32 career saves, tied for the most in program history. Feltman has struck out 129 batters in 88 2/3 career innings pitched with the Horned Frogs.
