The Bruins beat the Maple Leafs in a Game 7 for the third time in the last seven years, coming away with a 5-1 win Tuesday night at TD Garden.

Joakim Nordstrom and Marcus Johansson staked the Bruins to a 2-0 first-period lead, Sean Kuraly scored a huge goal early in the third after the Leafs had cut it to 2-1, and Charlie Coyle and Patrice Bergeron added late empty-netters. Tuukka Rask stopped 32 of the 33 shots he faced in a performance that should silence the critics at least for a little while.
