According to multiple reports, former WFAN radio host Craig Carton was sentenced to 3.5 years in prison and three years probation Friday on federal fraud charges for his role in a ticket fraud scheme.

Last November, Carton was convicted for playing a role in defrauding investors in a ticket reselling business in order to pay off his gambling debts, which were well over $5 million.

Carton was the co-host of WFAN's morning show, but resigned in September of 2017 following his arrest.

Andrew Marchand of the New York Post reports Carton will appear in studio on ESPN New York's Michael Kay show Monday afternoon to tell his story.
