How to watch, stream Sunday's Patriots-Jets game

November 25, 2018 - 9:01 am

The Patriots have had two weeks to get things straightened out after their ugly 34-10 loss to the Titans, and a date with the Jets Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium could be just what they need to get back on track.

The Jets, who are also coming off their bye, have lost four straight and are now 3-7 on the season. They most recently got crushed by the lowly Bills, 41-10. They’ve scored more than 17 points just three times this season, and they’ve also given up 24 or more points in five of their last seven games.

Also helping matters is the fact that the Patriots offense is getting healthier. Tight end Rob Gronkowski is expected to return Sunday after missing three of the last four games, and Sony Michel has had two more weeks to build back up to full strength after returning to action against Tennessee. Starting guard Shaq Mason is also expected to return.

The Jets will turn to 39-year-old veteran Josh McCown at quarterback for a second straight game, as rookie Sam Darnold remains out with a foot injury. McCown was abysmal in the Jets’ Week 10 loss to the Bills, going 17-of-34 for 135 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions for a 35.8 passer rating.
