How to watch, stream Sunday's Patriots-Vikings game

December 02, 2018 - 8:00 am

The Patriots face one of their toughest matchups of the regular season Sunday afternoon when they welcome the Minnesota Vikings to Gillette Stadium.

The Vikings come in at 6-4-1 and currently hold the first Wild Card spot in the NFC. They’re a game and a half behind the Bears in the NFC North and are coming off a 24-17 win over the division rival Packers last Sunday night.

After signing with Minnesota in the offseason, quarterback Kirk Cousins has completed 71.1 percent of his passes this season for 3,289 yards, 22 touchdowns, seven interceptions and a 101.9 passer rating.

His top targets are the dynamic wide receiver duo of Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs. Thielen leads the NFL with 93 receptions and is second with 1,138 yards to go along with eight touchdowns. Diggs has 79 catches for 790 yards and six touchdowns, although he missed a couple practices this week with a knee injury.

The Patriots are coming off a 27-13 win over the Jets and are looking as healthy as they’ve looked all season. Rob Gronkowski returned from injury last week and this week he was removed from the injury report altogether for the first time since Week 2 (although he was then back on the injury report the next day). Sony Michel showed he is clearly back in top form with 133 yards rushing last week. And fellow running back Rex Burkhead is expected to return after being activated off injured reserve this week.
