Dale and Keefe reacted on Wednesday to the Bruins’ 2-1 loss to the Blue Jackets on Tuesday night and Keefe apologized for laughing the day before at the idea of the Bruins sitting David Pastrnak.

“There was a couple of callers yesterday that we both kind of laughed off the air who said they should sit Pastrnak,” Keefe said. “I’m apologizing because guess what? Not that dumb. Not that dumb of an idea because he is horrible.”

Keefe lamented that Pastrnak “screwed up the (Charlie) Coyle line” Tuesday night.

“I think you could either sit him, I don’t think that’s outrageous anymore, or you have to play him with those top guys …,” Keefe suggested. “Pastrnak is atrocious. He’s been so bad.”

To which Dale said, “I don’t think there’s any chance on God’s green earth he gets sat down."
