It started with the Howard Stern interview and hasn't stopped since. Tom Brady is clearly taking a different approach these days when it comes to displaying his public persona.

Lou Merloni isn't keen on the alteration.

"I’m starting to worry about Tom," Merloni said Tuesday on OMF. "I’m not so sure I like the new Tom Brady. I’m starting to worry about him."

The conversation on Tuesday's show with Merloni, Glenn Ordway and Christian Fauria that prompted the take on Brady had to do with how the quarterback is going about leveraging his brand. There has been a different approach to social media, an increased willingness to push his TB12 products and the most recent examples, his participation in "The Match" golf charity tournament along with the announcement regarding his forthcoming documentary.

"I’m not so sure I see it," Merloni said. "I defended him in the whole TB12 supplement and then the video came out Thursday or Friday, I’m like, ‘Enough.’ I’m not comparing him to David Price by any means but make me talk about your football.

"As you saw in that golf tournament, The Match, he doesn’t have the personality of Peyton, you know what I mean. He doesn’t have the personality of Phil Mickelson, joking around. I don’t know if putting himself out there is really a good thing. I mean, he’s a nice guy but he’s not witty. I don’t know. I think he should just concentrate on playing football and let us judge him on his football. I’m not so sure it’s a good thing."
