How to help those impacted by Hurricane Florence

Hurricane Florence made landfall in North Carolina on Friday, Sept. 14, around 7 a.m. As of Tuesday, the storm had accounted for 34 deaths, massive amounts of flooding, and more than $17 billion in damage. Here's how you can help those affected by the storm:

- GoFundMe has verified this campaign for Task Force 75, a team of veterans bringing boats and supplies to Wilmington, North Carolina to help with search and rescue operations.

- The American Red Cross is taking donations here to help with its relief efforts.

- Americares has deployed a relief team as well and is taking donations here

- North Carolina Community Foundation is a local humanitarian organization partnering with local charities in relief efforts. You can donate to them here.

- Global Giving, which supports grassroots charity projects, has launched a relief fund. You can contribute by clicking here.

- If you'd like to help with animal rescue efforts, you can donate to American Humane's emergency rescue efforts or to the Charleston Animal Society.
