Bills fans do more than behave recklessly during tailgates.

Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton threw the most consequential pass Sunday in recent Bills history when he connected with tight end Tyler Eifert for a game-winning touchdown pass to defeat the Ravens and knock them out of playoff contention. As a result, the Bills, who defeated the Dolphins moments earlier, clinched its first postseason berth since 1999.

Over the ensuing 48 hours, Bills fans have flooded Dalton’s foundation with donations. The Andy and Jordan Dalton Foundation, which supplies financial aid to families with medical expenses, announced Tuesday it’s received more than $100,000 from over 4,500 donors since Sunday.

Dalton expressed his gratitude on Twitter, calling himself the “hottest guy in Buffalo” right now. The Bills will take on the Jaguars Sunday at 1:05 p.m., where they are nine-point underdogs.
