October is National Bullying Prevention Month

October is National Bullying Prevention Month. Founded by PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center in 2006, the campaign is designed to raise awareness and provide resources to keep youth safe from bullying. For more information on the campaign, as well as resources and ways to show your support, visit PACER's website.

Another great bullying prevention resource is STOMP Out Bullying, a leading national nonprofit that works to reduce and prevent bullying, cyberbullying, sexting and other digital abuse, educates against homophobia, LGBTQ discrimination, racism and hatred, and deters violence in schools, online and in communities across the country. For more information and resources on how to help and how to get help, visit stompoutbullying.org.

StopBullying.gov is an official government website that also provides information on how to help prevent bullying. You can visit their website here.
