WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon

The 18th annual WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon presented by Arbella Insurance Foundation raised $3,523,206 to help strike out cancer. Thank you to everyone who donated!

The Greg Hill Show kicked things off Tuesday morning with a slew of great guests, including Tom Brady (audio, video), Tuukka Rask and Shawn Thornton (audio, video), and Mayor Marty Walsh (audiovideo). They also talked to inspiring patients like Currivan Alouidor (audio), Camden Bailey (audio, video), Nixon Clarke (audio, video), Kaitlyn Vu (video), and Charles Benoit (audio), plus Dr. Brian Crompton (audio), nurses Courtney Shea and Sara Shobin (audio), and Dr. Barrett Rollins (audio).

Dale and Keefe kept the momentum going with guests like Brock Holt with Lisa Scherber (audio, video), Xander Bogaerts (audiovideo), Matt Grzelcyk (audiovideo), and NBA writer Kevin O'Connor and his dad Paul (audiovideo). Other stars included patients like Caroline Grape (audio), Liz Page (audio), Mason Willis with his parents (audio), Dominic Deluca (audio), Ronald Melampy (audio), Mason Giove (audio, video), Bobby Kariotis (audio), Lilla Woodhouse (audio), and David Reed (audio), as well as author Brian Kalfass (audio).

Ordway, Merloni and Fauria took over from 2-6 p.m. with 6-year-old Cheyenne Stockwood (audio) and Mookie Betts and J.D. Martinez (audio, video) right out of the gate. Gary Tanguay (audio), Wyc Grousbeck (videoaudio), Erin O'Malley from sister station MIX 104.1 (videoaudio), and Chris Berman with his daughter Meredith (videoaudio) all joined as well, as did Dana-Farber patients Kevin Chouinard (audio), Ann Bonetti (audio), Karlee Nogler and family (videoaudio), Grady Smith (videoaudio), Carly Tobin (video, audio), Gabbi Stewart (audio, video), Kasha Wasylak (audio, video), and Joey Segreve with his parents (audio).

Day 2 began with The Greg Hill Show welcoming some big names like Robert and Jonathan Kraft (audio), Adam Schefter (audio), Governor Charlie Baker with Lenny Clarke (video, audio), and Sam Kennedy (audio, video). Dana-Farber RNs Briana Galante (audio) and Daniel J. Wallace (audio) stopped by too, as did Dr. Robert Soiffer (audio) and patients like Kelli O'Hara (audio), Eric Kelly (audio), Abel Nickerson and his family (video, audio), Crista Cardillo (video, audio), and Amy Ennis (audio).

Dale and Keefe took over from 10-2 and talked to Dave Dombrowski (audio, video), David Price and Nathan Eovaldi (video, audio), Terry Francona (audio), Jerry Remy and Sean McDonough (video, audio), Alex Rodriguez (audio), and Steve Pagliuca (audio). Inspiration patients like Jimmy Cefalo (audio), Ryan Fox (audio), Chloe Svolos (audio, video), Felix Reyes (audio, video), Tim O'Keefe (audio, video), Cam Conley (video, audio), Abe Landau (audio), Kate Becket (audio), and Katie Kennedy (audio) all joined the show as well, as did Dana-Farber president and CEO Laurie Glimcher (audio).

Perhaps the biggest highlight of the event came around 2:30 on Wednesday when Alex Cora, Brad Stevens and Bruce Cassidy joined OMF in studio and Bill Belichick called in, bringing all four Boston coaches together.
