Shane Greene, one of the few closers made available to contending MLB teams, is heading to Atlanta from Detroit. In addition to Greene, ESPN is reporting the Braves added Giants reliever Mark Melancon. Details on what the Tigers and Giants will receive in compensation have yet to be disclosed.
